About

Why ColdCalling.sg exists

Every page about AI calling in Singapore is written by someone selling AI calling. The comparisons compare the author favourably. The statistics come from overseas vendor datasets. The compliance sections are one paragraph and usually wrong.

ColdCalling.sg is an attempt at the other thing: an independent place to work out what you need, what it costs, what the rules are, and which provider fits, before you talk to anyone who wants to sell you something.

What we do

We compare AI voice solutions available in Singapore, publish guides on how to buy them, and introduce businesses to the provider that fits their requirement. You tell us your industry, volume, languages, budget and timing. A person reviews it and makes one introduction.

What we are not

  • We are not a vendor. We do not build, own, operate or resell any AI calling product.
  • We are not a lead broker. Your details go to one provider by default. Up to three only if you explicitly choose that. Never to a general list.
  • We are not a directory. Paying us does not buy a listing, a ranking or a better recommendation.

How we make money

Providers pay to receive matched enquiries. Businesses pay nothing. That is the whole model, and it creates an obvious tension worth naming: we are paid when an introduction happens, so we have an incentive to make introductions.

We manage that in two ways. A person reviews every request rather than routing automatically, and we tell you when nothing on our list fits rather than introducing you to the nearest thing. If we ever stop doing that, this site stops being worth reading.

Our editorial rules

No statistics we cannot source

There is no reliable Singapore benchmark for connect rates. So we do not publish one, even though a number would be more persuasive than an explanation.

Law separated from practice

Calling hours are industry convention, not statute. Do Not Call screening is law. Most pages blur the two. We label which is which and cite the source.

Limitations stated plainly

Every solution page says what that solution does badly. Most agents cannot switch language mid-call or transfer to a person, and we say so.

Dated and reviewed

Every guide carries a review date and a next review date. Compliance content goes stale, and undated advice is worse than none.

Where we are still weak

Worth saying out loud, since we ask providers to be candid:

  • Our pricing bands come from a small number of published sources, and most providers publish nothing.
  • We have no independent Singapore data on connect rates, because none exists publicly.
  • The industry workload ranges are reasoned from how each sector operates rather than measured.
  • Some of what we say about buyer behaviour, such as when enquiries arrive or how quickly people expect a reply, comes from what operators in that sector describe rather than from a dataset.

Each of those carries a note where it appears, saying which it is, rather than being smoothed over into something that reads like data. As we see more real enquiries and more partner feedback, they will improve. If you find a claim on this site without that note, it is an oversight and we would like to hear about it.
